Goal
The Oscar Washington Jr. Educational Fund is pleased to announce that it will begin identifying and incentivizing select elementary and middle school students who exemplify great conduct, attend school consistently and work to their highest potential academically. Through a partnership with First Security Bank, the students who are recommended by their school counselors, teachers and principals, will have a monetary deposit made by OWJEF into their First Security Bank Kid’s Club Savings Account and become eligible for other prizes awarded by OWJEF at the end of the academic year.
The goal of the Oscar Juniors Incentive Initiative is to create a passion in elementary students to excel academically, demonstrate great character and attend school regularly by rewarding their efforts.
